    Knoxx Sidewinder Kit

Was just wondering if anyone is looking for a Knoxx Sidewinder Kit, I saw one on gunbroker.com today.

I've been planning on getting one "some day." I want a drum mag (I want more than one in fact), but shotguns are a bit low on my priority list so the Sidewinder is a ways off. If I could find one for the right price ($300 including the drum mag) I'd buy it on the 1st (when I get my paycheck).

Rather than read all of the DOJ pages on what is legal/illegal, I will take the lazy way out and ask here without shame.

Is it legal to have a shotgun with a drum setup in Ca. Thanks.

Because the drum is not a rotating cylinder as defined in the AW laws (CA Penal Code 12776.1), but rather a magazine that stores and feeds the ammunition in a drum, it is legal.

Thank you DedEye, I appreciate the info.

I went to their site yesterday after a member on xdtalk, where I usually hang out, mentioned their SpecOps products. I noted they only seem to have stuff for Remington, Mossberg and their derivatives.

I have an old 1976 Ithaca Featherlite I bought new (my former dept. uses the Deerslayer model and I needed to be familiar with the weapon) and I'm guessing they don't carry anything for it. I'll have to give them a call I guess.

Doubtful that they would. Keep that stock and hopefully it'll appreciate in value, then get a cheap 870 or Mossberg 500 to pimp out with Knoxx accessories.

I bought it for $194 out the door and I have seen some on Gunbroker/GunsAmerica, but not parkerized like mine go for about $300 only. I'm guessing since the company has gone bankrupt and changed owners a number of times, that affects the value.

Also, it is not one of those high falooting hunting shotguns that costs thousands to begin with.

Yeah, I guess I can get one of those you mentioned and make it tacticool.
