I like the Magpul MOE handguard. You only put the rail where is needed. I have a beast of a POF Recon with an 11" rail. Looks cool but it's heavy and hurts your hand unless you put rail covers.
MI makes some drop in hand rails that are under $180.

Drop in rails are fine! I have MI drop ins and they work great, have also used DD EZ Car too. The MI rails are about $125 direct from MI.

off the bench my free float ar is more accurate (produces smaller groups.) However when running and gunning, there is little difference in group size for me.
The "best" handgun caliber debate rages on, meanwhile I just keep buying low recoil 00 buck.

Cruise all the classified sections in the major forums for a used Daniel Defense Omega Rail (drop-in and FF), they're always around for close to, if not half their retail price.

For example check here, if there isn't one currently, it'll give you a good idea of the condition and price of used rails.

It really wont matter too much if ur running n gunnin. If it was me id save the cash and just find a.used $100 Kac Ras or just use the standard hanguards(lightest option of all)
