3-6. Typically 3 is about all I have time for.

    1911ZENSHOOTER has a good point.

      Depends really.

When I go wheeling and camping in the desert I take my P90 for protection and just in case sort of thing.

When I go to the range it depends what I'm in the mood to shoot. If I'm just hitting the lanes I leave the shotguns at home. If I'm doing trap I take one or two of them. I have 13 total sompacking them all to the range is kinda silly
      Household Arsenal:
      Mossberg 500 .410, Mossberg 500 12 gauge (2 of em), Mossberg 100 ATR .270 caliber, Armalite AR-7 .22lr, Savage 93 .17HMR, Marlin Lever Action Colt 45 rifle, Beretta revolver 45 Colt, Ruger P90T in 45 ACP
      Smith & Wesson 22A

        Depends.
Camping with people I have not seen around guns before usually a .22, an AR and a pistol I carry and maybe a shotgun just so the non gun owners can check them out - and I can see who I can trust around the guns.

Camping with good friends - everything, because they are bringing everything to and its always a one-up kinda situation.

If I am just going for the day by myself usually a pistol a shotgun an AR and what ever gun I am currently working reloads up for....

thats a lot! I have been camping a total of twice over the last year, and all i brought was a pistol (father inlaw had a pistol as well but we dont discuss such things infront of non-humors)

a long rifle would have been prudent but impractical and would have set the mood for the weekend.

Meet the Faulkers? Basically my family (hippies) vs hers (ex FFL freedom lovers). No weird man-boob-feeding apparatuses or anything but both my parents fled WW2 and such memories are actually their first (they were very young) and had i exposed such items on the trip, well to say i would be ridiculed is an understatement.

Before the protest posts - i know, trust me i know but there comes a time when "live and let live" makes more sense than "i know im right, damn it"

A Minimum of 2 but usually 5 or 6. I generally shoot with my wife and try to bring a friend or two. Always have at least one .22LR either handgun or rifle and my HD gun. I used to bring everything but cleaning them becomes a chore.

                      I feel so inadequate.

                      I own 2 pistols.

When I go out to shoot, I always carry two pistols.

One for target shooting, and one for self defense for the time period between emptying the magazine, and inserting another.

When I am target shooting out in the desert, I want to be able to defend myself is some scumbag decides "He's out of ammo, I think I'll steal his gun while it's empty!"

Knowing that -I- have to clean them afterwards, I usually only take 3-5.

HK-USP I should have stated that the Tracers/API etc is in Nev/Ore where I have family/Friends and go shoot sometimes. I will be in Nev in May to have some fun and why not have some fun ammo.
