Sheeeet, too many, but I'm a big fan of variety....so for a day trip in the desert...I'll usually load up probably 10.

Between one and about 35 depending on what I'm doing, where I'm going and how long I'll be there.

Three to shoot and one at my side......I hate cleaning them after the fact.

It depends on what I am doing.

The downside is the more you take, is more to clean.

Typically 3, handgun, 22lr rifle and another larger caliber rifle. Really more of a pain that it is worth to have to clean more than 3 guns and that selection gives me enough variety to have fun.

Generally, three, unless I am testing certain guns or ammo. Cleaning guns right after shooting is like a religion to some folks and a necessity with corrsive ammo or black powder---however, with modern ammo, a brief wipe down with Breakfree CLP keeps 'em nice and rust free. I may shoot a particular firearm many times before I field strip it and do a real cleaning.

Oh yeah, and of course trap, throwers, melons, targets, gongs, staples, some old fruit, eggs, and golf balls. It was an awesome day, took over 15 people shooting, I dont usually bring more than a few, but saturday was the exception. It was by far the best day of shooting I have ever had!

If your local I can PM you the address, Its my little slice of heaven and with Cherry Creek shut down, I am trying to keep it pristine. This weekend as I headed up the Wash I had to clean up a ton of shotgun shells, old targets, and of course beer cans and such.

We shot well over 2000 rounds combined, the shooting was non stop for close to 5 hours! Very small breaks to setup new targets, and one lunch break. A couple of the noobies took the 44mag T/C to a new dueling tree I brought that was meant for 40 cal and 9mm. Punched holes straight through it that looked like they were drilled out, left nothing but a clean hole. I will post pics up as soon as I find my dang cable for the camera!
