for that price ill stick with card board cutouts
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774_1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

It amazes me that, as a group, gunowners/shooters want to be viewed responsible adults and then will get ga-ga over something as assinine as zombies, zombie ammunition, and now bleeding zombie targets.

        LOL

It shows that we're not all serious, stick up our ***, type people. Altough I do agree with the whole zombie thing becoming a cliche.

What, we cannot have fun and be responsible adults? It amazes me that gun owners want to convert antis and convince them it isn't just about hunting and that it is a fun sport/recreational activity (amongst others of course) yet shake their fist if someone wants to use something "too fun".

Agreed. Wonder if bruce feels the same way when R. Lee Ermey blasts away at china plates or watermelons?

Wow. Who pissed in your Cheerios? It's called "fun." FTA, in Corona is even offering "Zombie Attack" carbine and shotgun courses. Teaches basic handling and marksmanship, while incorporating "fun."

Think about it this way, you take an anti-gunner out shooting and be super strict about it and make sure they have no fun; and I'll take an anti-gunner out shooting and we'll shoot zombie targets and tannerite. Let's see who changes the anti's mind first.

With the watermelons, yes, I feel the same way. I gather those who have taken me to task for my opinion were probably in diapers when Roberti-Roos was in progress. The public was inundated with footage of watermelons and cinder blocks being blasted to pieces by shooters with those mean ole nasty "assault rifles". All just good fun; right? Anybody really think news footage of a "bleeding zombie targets" will be good publicity for shooters? Would you really want to be party to a lawsuit that you used "zombie ammunition" to defend yourself. ("The defendant was so dellusional that he was afraid of zombies!"-- Opposing Counsel)
Sadly we live in a era where appearances are everything and facts mean nothing. So far, the anti's have been painting us as redneck neanderthals and militia nut cases. There's no reason to give them more trash to use against us.

They are fun targets, but it gets boring quick.
