    Magazine security

I was just thinking, how many of us, lock our magazines in the safe?

Why? If you are doing it to prevent theft, I can understand. If you like leaving them loaded and have kids in the home, I understand. Can't think of any other reason to put in a safe.

I was thinking, if some of them get stolen, they can't be replaced. As it is now, my safe doesn't have room for magazines. Maybe I should get another safe?

This sounds like the thread in the handgun section about someone asking what's the most amount of magazines one can have .

i dont think you'll need another safe, maybe an ammo can?
If Marines could get what they needed, when they needed it, we would be happy and wouldn't ready to kill people all of the time. The Marine Corps is like America's Pitbull. They beat us, mistreat us and every once in awhile, they let us out to attack someone.

I store mine in a safe. I also store the bayonets in a safe. You can always alter a safe to fit or do as I did and get 2 more safes. I really need another soon.
I do so as some are costly to replace and some are not legal to replace. I do not have a bunch of money for replacements anymore. Plus I just do not want some scum to take them. I am just that way.

The influx of firearms pushed the magazines and ammo into a tub next to the safe.

I keep my magazines in the safe and the guns on the dining room table.

I'd need to buy another safe to store all of my LCMs.

^^^This. Last time I counted, I had well over a hundred mags, with a total capacity of over 2500 rds. And that was a while ago.
