    Made in the USA

I just noticed all of my guns are made by American gun companies:

    Smith & Wesson
    Ruger
    Marlin
    Mossberg
    Savage

              Keep in mind,

Just because it's from an American gun company doesn't mean it was made in the USA

Until recently all of my firearms are US made. But a few weeks ago I bought a Philippine made Rock Island .45. I've never owned a 1911 type pistol before. I really wanted the all US made Ruger SR1911 but its not on the CA roster and cost full retail to SSE it (hard to find too). All the other US made 1911s I looked at were close to $1000+ or -.
If I really get into this 1911 thing maybe the next one will be a S&W 1911. Whatever it is It'll be US made for sure.

Savage rimfires are made in Canada, which is why I bought a Marlin instead.

...with metal that was purchased from China, South America, or Canada.

The whole "Made in the USA" idea is lousy anyway.

It's not like those that are made elsewhere don't use the same metal. At least it helps someone with a job here instead of another country.

meh... if i ran a business and i could employ people for 1/4 of the cost and not have as much BS tax and gov regulations as i do here, guess what i would do?

America is destroying America, buying American made isnt that cool, it just supports the self destruction.

Does anyone have a US made TV by the way?

That's fine and dandy you'd do that, but obviously if things are still being put together here in the states, not everyone shares that perspective. Also, I don't recall ever buying something "Made in the USA" because it was "cool." You had best run outside and make sure none of the VINs on your cars start with a "1."

Never heard the standpoint that buying anything American made is supporting the self-destruction of our country either. Interesting. To each their own.

im assuming you own a mustang, made by ford, whos union workers told ford that they would destroy their business if they didnt cooperate with their "requests". its a perfect example of how buying American destroys America.

you paid for a car, who employed union workers at some crazy wage, some of them to stand there and make sure other union workers were working, but actually doing nothing, and for what? you could have go more bang for your buck with a foreign car without supporting union thugs.

i currently own two chevys, both made in America. i bought them because i liked them, not because they were "made in America" or to "support American workers". my mazda was doing better at 113k mi than my chevy is doing at 75k. my hondas were perfect all of the time, and my VW sucked.

by intentionally buying an American product, you are most likely supporting corrupt politics, unfair tax and labor laws, and union thuggery.

the best thing you can buy is the thing that makes the most sense for your budget and needs.
