                  Don't listen to anyone here, they're all idiots. I have been a recon delta force black beret sniper squadron leader since I was 15 years old. A .22lr is more than sufficient to bring down Cthulhulu. I have seen it done.

                      Well I ran the CoC RPG and the players took out Cthulhu with a stick of dynamite Now, they rolled max damage and he failed his save. But I always thought phosphorus rounds were the best choice over all.

                                              While being chased through the desert, find a 6" diameter bamboo "pipe", fill it with some sulfur, charcoal and diamonds, that are laying around. Wrap it with a fibrous rope that you find. Point the whole thing at Cthulhulu. Light the fuse with the flint & steel you got out of your communicator. While Cthulhulu is unconscious show compassion by not stabbing him with a sharp rock.
