Body Armor

hey all,
ive been looking into getting body armor, something that has soft armor, can hold plates, and i can put MOLLE gear on. can someone give me a link to whatever theyre using? Thanks

Try searching "Interceptor body armor" on eBay or gunbroker, it's helped me to score an awesome deal.

money isnt a big issue, i have a good some to play around with, i want soft armor with hard level III plates to protect against rifle shots, and i want something in between coverage and mobility

A lot of vests won't come with soft armor inserts or plates, you'll have to buy them on your own.

Without knowing your specific needs, here are some of the more prominent makers (in no particular order):

Overpriced. If you search eBay or gb often, you're likely to find better deals, although granted, the plates might have seen use or otherwise might not be "NIW/NIB," but how much damage does usage do to rifle plates if they aren't shot?

I had a Lvl IV rifle plate manufactured in 2004, was rough around the edges, but was excellent and sturdy.

I donno, body armor isn't something I would skimp on.

If it fails when you need it then its a little more complicated then sending it in for warranty work.

I understand the sentiment, in my case, the armor piece looked, felt, and generally appeared to be intact in every way it should be. Just seemed dusty pretty much,







Another thing is, Lvl IV plates are somewhat difficult to come across for some strange reason, much more elusive than Lvl III plates.
