If you could get a CCW, what would you carry?

Actually, hopefully it will be when, rather than if .

And, if you have already one, what do you carry?

My candidates include a Glock 26, but a small, snub-nosed revolver might also work.

If you are applying good luck.
I carry a kimber PRO CDPII most days

And I carry a LC9 someday, mostly in hot weather.

And since I picked up my PPQ I am adding it to my permit.

I like the LC9 total want! I think I would consider an XDM compact if I could get one.....

The only handgun I have ever carried was before I moved to CA and it was an LCP.... Personally I feel the need for something that I was comfortable carrying everyday, over a powerhouse.... For a short time the LCP fit the bill. I'd rather have 7 s hots of .380 that are always with me than 9 shots of .45 that I only carry half the time....

but again, my experience was limited to a short time before moving to CA where 2A rights were lobotomized at the border.

Snubs are great pocket pistols. So are some compact 9mm and .380. Any kind of belt holster ups the printing worry factor by ten.

I carry my Glock 23 daily; Napa County.

So happy to have moved here from Solano county. I still have a house in Vallejo that I need to visit. Wouldn't go without my 23.

                27 is next on list.

When carrying in cold weather, where I can have the clothing to conceal it, I carry my Hi-Point C9.

When I need to have a more discrete carry piece, it is the Beretta 3032. This is for warmer weather and the clothing is thinner.

Too many choices, a 2 1/2" model 66 would be hard to beat, maybe a 2 5/8" 627 in the winter. An airweight or Model 60 as a back up gun or for pocket carry.

For a pistol either an M&P9c or G19, same back up.

I will have to re-evaluate if and when my rights are respected.

                          LTC

I have my CA LTC and chose my guns based on weather type.

For cool weather (like now) I carry a full size, double stack .45 IWB
For warm weather its a subcompact, 9mm also carried IWB
For HOT weather its a 5 shot revolver carried either IWB or in a pocket holster

                          This works well for me.

I have my Sac County LTC and I initially put down my G17, G22, and G23. After actually carrying the bigger guns, I simply cannot do it without changing my attire.

I can comfortably carry my G23 or G19 with my standard clothes.

I recently bought a S&W MP9C, but I doubt that I will ever carry it. The Compact Glock conceals well in my Galco King Tuk, and I don't have to wear anything out of the ordinary. Come summer, I may dance to a different tune. Maybe in the summer the MP9C will get a lot of carry time.

I bought my G29 with the intent on carrying it if I can ever get a LTC.
