    Lag bolts into 2x4 is hardly secure. Even if you tear open your wall to through bolt it is still less than concrete anchors. As an additional measure of safety it is a good idea. JMHO

        Just make sure you use BIG lag bolts. Even if you have to drill the holes bigger in the bottom of the safe. hilti makes good lag bolts. Fastenall is another good product.

        One thing you want to make sure you do is after you drill you vacuum up all the concrete dust out of the holes. The dust itself will act like a lubing agent and the lags will loosen up. They make these little rubber bulbs with a metal tip that you can blow out all the concrete dust out of the holes.

          dont use redheads , use wedge anchors , you can drill all the way thruough the slab if you want and as you tighten the nuts it will lock up nicely, also if you move , just remove the nuts andpound the bolts below the slab a half an inch and fill , easy peasy lemon squeezy
