    Does jail time scare you?

Every time I dros a gun and I'm in the waiting period, i get worried that DOJ will get my SSN wrong, or will have some faulty information somewhere and I will get denied and have to deal with a bunch of complications.

I have 2 guns in jail right now that I want to order parts for, but I keep telling myself to wait until they are in my hands.

    Anyone else?

You're DROSed in a minute - baring any complications with the system. The dealer lets you know before you walk out of the store.

The 10 day wait has NOTHING to do with DROS - the wait period is a State of California thing.
Didn't know that- I knew the 10 day wait was just for "cooling off" so that I cant use one of my other guns to shoot someone because I have to wait for my new one (????), but I thought the DOJ would be made aware just sometime within the first 6 days or so, didn't know it was instant.

            Time to start buying stuff!

I know how you feel. I always hold off on buying ammunition and accessories until the gun is in my hands.

I get like 8 different type of backround checks for work and gun purchases prob a year. I Get nervous everytime, even though my record is clean. Hell I get worries thinking I have some random warrant due to a name/idenity mismatch or something.

No but when I got my lower, I was freaked out too, couldn't even sleep the last night.
Horrible wait. Felt like Cartman in the Go god go episodes.

I wouldn't believe everything you read.
There have been denials well into the 10 days.

You actually write down your SSN on the 4473s?

No, but according to the paper it helps them not get confused, making me believe that they cross reference it at some point in their system, no?
