Call your local police station for information on filing one and if they can't do it I'm sure that they can refer you to the right place. You will have to put your personal infomation out there with them though.
I don't usually recommend that people use wikipedia as a viable sourse of information but this one has a few things that may be able to help. Just be sure that it is necissary if you are going to apply for one.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restraining_order

Do you have their full name and age? Also, it helps if you know what area they currently and previously have lived to make sure you have the correct person.With all this "gun control" talk, I've not heard one politician say how they plan on taking guns from criminals, just law abiding Citizens.

btw... a TRO is just a piece of paper to most people. If someone is seriously out to get you that simple piece of paper isn't going to stop them.Comment
