Where do you find the best deals on your ammo - online?

I'm trying to pick up some .357 sig stuff. The only place around has Remington hollow for $37.95 for a box of 50! Not pratical/cost effective for range trips.

Buy while prices have stabilized. They can fluctuate somewhat, but they are never going down. These are the good old days. Remember that and adjust your stocks accordingly. Depends too if your bugging in or bugging out.

In my experience, .357 Sig is not easy to find at good prices. If that is what you are looking for, keep searching. Other, more common calibers are much better for range trips.

For more common calibers, I often buy from Palmetto State Armory.

Ah the ammo hoarding question. If you want to know how much ammo you need, get a backpack, fill it up with all the ammo you have, and see how far you can walk/run with it. That might help your decision a little.

Some of us actually buy ammo in bulk so we can go shoot it. It's not always about SHTF/EOTWAWKI/BUGGINGOUT/ZOMBIEINVASION/ETC.

Nope, don't believe in it...haha jk jk. No, I converted my MP .40 to .357, I will be switching barrels in between a few targets.

It's really not all that expensive; now, its not easy to find em locally cheap, (ammo bros) has a box of 50 (Winchester) for $30.00 bucks.

The price of them is not too bad from what I've seen online (bulk, or not).

Thumbs up...And there is a great (bulk) group buy they do locally, I just missed out on it this time around.

Buy .22 rimfire. You can carry thousands of rounds on you, and store more ammo in less space than any other.

Better game killer, much quieter, still deadly on two legged varmints, does not wear out firearms, easier on the ears (who wears muffs while killing zombies?), and costs considerably less than any alternative.

Buying at least two bricks a month will have you in ammo for years after the SHTF, or zombie apocalypse.
