BWAHAHAHAHA...Under or over statement? I've met people who were born here who cannot compose a paragraph without a mistake. In my line of work, repair companies send me quotes for approval and thoroughly will be spelled throughly, mould will be mold and so on.

Now back to Ade's. Never been there but lots of CG members give them heads-up so they must be good.

Yes Ade is busy however all i've ever seen is good people buying and selling guns there. I've never had a problem with Ade and he always orders items i need over the phone. He's very professional and honest. He will continue to have my business. If you want to see illegal's buying guns then you need to go to turners to see that.

Nope - He would get his stuff at the Academy store. Where he can get guns at a way better price than we can, and get his new AR-15 duty rifle. I believe Turners has a standing policy on giving LE's a 5 or 10 % dicount on all firearms.

The Academy store is not very cheap, although better than most and only stocks sealed mag well ar-15.

I was just calling around to see if I could even get a hold of one. Fowler's outright told me that it isn't on the handgun safety roster (uuh I'm staring next to the DOJ roster website looking at "CZ 75 SP-01" honey and it's been on here for a while). Turner's said they've never stocked it because "it comes with hi-capacity magazines so we can't get it." A couple other stores said it's a "special order item" and would be $50-100 extra than MSRP.

"They do sell ones that come with low-caps but they are very scarce. If you want I can get you one in two days from my wholesaler without a magazine."

Honesty, basic understanding of economics, and no ******* attitude. That's all I freaking want from a gun store.

Seems like Ade's and Metro are the only ones that can offer this to me so far.

Fowlers said that? They stock the SP01, I bought one from them a few months ago for $580 with two 10 round mags. Was the call during the week? I seem to get better service on the weekends.

I was at Ade's yesterday, there were two guys doing a PPT and one guy getting his NAA revolver

I can't believe that the writer is a 30 year veteran of any police department the guy has such horrible spelling and grammar that I would bet that he couldn't have graduated high school over 30 years ago.

I'm a writing and grammar buff myself, but I know a number of smart, well-educated people who can't write or spell to save their lives. Some people are good at grammar and wordsmithing, and others just aren't wired that way.

Not trying to defend the turkey who wrote these anti-Ade posts, but just saying that writing and spelling ability isn't tied to intelligence, education, or whatever. If anything, I think those abilities are strongest in people who read a lot when young, but I'm sure there are exceptions to that as well.

I've actually have had a bad experience at Ades and know of another member that also did but they were fairly minor. Pm if interested but I don't get to calguns much anymore. That being said I much prefer Ades to Turners in most any situation.

I have been to Ade's shop about 3 times and I'm working on ordering a gun right now. He called around and found the gun I wanted for $23 less than the first distributer he talked to. So far I'm very happy with him. Should get my gun when I get back to town early next month.
