an't reccomend Ade's any more, as there is no good things to say about them. Rude, surley, stupid and uninformed workers and Ade is now more interested in making money hand over fist that taking care of his loyal customers. Poor level of stock, cramped and crowded, Ade has no clue that California guns sometimes have different model numbers than other States approved guns. He will tell you that a gun you are interested in is not available, but in fact a Calif version (different capacity, features, etc.) is avail. Don't waste your time here! Go to Turners (up the street) or across the street at Fowlers for better help and selections. Boo Mr. Ade! You forgot who made you be able to go from a desk inside of another guys stamp shop to your own (cranped and dirty) store. You wont see us again...

Ade's has changed for the worst! I have been shopping and buying from Ade for quite a while, when he shared a shop with another guy. But he has bit off more than he can chew with his recent shop, he has so much business is this tiny shop that you can't even get in. Mostly illegal aliens buying cheap guns. He has one goofy clerk helping that has no clue about guns at all, so don't ask any questions about weapons, you won't get an intellegent answer. Ade is answering the phone and generally ignoring customers, the stock he has is pathetic. If you ask to buy a particular model, he tells you that it is not for sale in Calif, in fact it is for sale, but as a model specific to California. He does not even bother to learn this, altho it is easily printed out from the Calif State Attorneys site. I had $700.00 cash in my pocket to buy right there on the spot, but after "helping" me, he went over to help a group of illegal aliens and ignored his long time customers. Rude! Very sad, too. I went to Turners and bough the gun I wanted from friendly guys that know about guns and service! I won't ever be back to Ades. And I'm not the only one!

Just laffo. I have yet to go to Ade's but thoroughly enjoyed that, on top of Turner's, Fowler-Stockade, and the other 4 shops I called up... he said he could get me a CZ SP-01 in TWO DAYS!

I don't want to incite drama with this, but you just can't stop laughing at how horribly scathing and mudslinging these obviously fake reviews are.

What I'm really wondering is how the hell he knew they were illegal aliens. Ask for their green cards? Talk about blatant racism.

Both reviews were obvious trolls...you'd realize that if you've only been to Ade's one time

Ade would need to see imigration status if a potential buyer stated he was not a US citizen during a transfer.

I hate it when jackwipes pick on good guys, It's probably a Turner's flunky that has nothing better to do at work. I bet they hear praise of Ade's everyday so they have an itch to get even somehow. Stupid people!

The couple of times that ive been to Ades...have been problem free. There were times that he was slow at doing some things, and I did have to stand around a little longer that I would have liked too... but the shop was busy, and he was the only one there at the time.

I've never been to Ade's, but I hear nothing but good things. Just the fact that the posting troll wants to send people to Turner's instead is enough of a reason to laugh. They complain about Ade's employees not knowing firearms laws and yet they claim that illegal aliens are buying guns there. Truly pathetic.

Both of these reviews I believe are wrong. First the fact they say illegal aliens purchasing guns makes me think of the type of person who is writing this. First only US citizens can purchase. Second I have a feeling they are using the term illegal aliens as a derrogatory term for hispanic or latin americans (whichever you prefer). Eitherway I would call both of those reviews bogus.

I have purchased several duty guns and off duty weapons (LA Police Officer for 30 Years) from Turners, and under new ownershir this place has thrived! Detter selection, great customer service from the staff, non-commissioned sales guys, clean shop, good prices.
It's closer to the old tyme "mom and pop" gun shops of the past!

Just for info,avoid Ade's gun shop... Ade's gun shop is also in the area (both on Tustin Ave.) has a lot of negative ratings, many former customers report that his customer service is awful now...and Fowlers is good, but much higher prices. Check out Turners weekly ad's for good prices.I bought the new Glock 21 SF for $100.00 less that any local dealers

Anyone else notice his second name was offensive? I have never been to Ades but have only heard great things about him and his shop. Anyone that lowers himself to the point of slurs, is obviously of lower intelligence.

The guy probably works for Turners or Fowlers, Ade's got two guys working for him so the wait isn't too bad. Turners hires people off the street, lot of them don't know much about guns... it's funny that you have to demonstrate how to disassemble a gun in front of a guy whom doesn't even have a gun safety card
