The term "destuctive device" comes to mind along with "Here's the soap Bubba" and "Federal Prision."

muzzle loaders are exempt from DD clasification

I wonder if that even has a projectile or if its just flash powder in a tube sending a concussion wave.

It looks like a black powder cannon which makes a lot of sound but doesn't shoot a projectile.

It's the kami kami kah from dragonball.

Dude- the thing shoots a donut vortex like 50 feet- in the middel of the vid you an see the ring of fire strike the ground- it has less dispersion than a cyl choke shotgun. I;d like to see it on soft targets at close distance. The nazis experimented with vortex cannons like that- wierd wild shtuff. Notic ethat the ring of fire opens up to about 3 feet and stays that way for 20-30 feet. Freaky. it's like the gun in the game portal. it's like a mini black hole making device. It's like a tiny wormhole. Closest to a Blaster I;ve ever seen. Who wants blueprints?!?!

ya know it's totally safe and proof tested and the fools messing with it are trained professionals.

I wonder if it would be possible to make it breach load and cycle as a pump?

Would it be a gun if it doesn't shoot a projectile and noone makes ammo for it?

Looks like a neat toy. The video editing style got old quickly, though.

Not true! Just because it uses black powder doesn't make it exempt! If that was the case, every 45LC, 38special, 30-30, 7.62x54R, 12 gauge, etc. could be exempt because they were all originally designed for black powder!

Ajaxx is closer to right. I know that original weapons as well as replicas and reproductions are exempt. I'm just not sure if this would be covered under those laws.

you would most likely get a ticket for unnaturally awaking a california condor or some stupid crap like that.
