Is Champion Visichalk compatable with standard clays?

if I purchased Visichalk target holders like these:

could I use them with standard clays purchased from Walmart or at the range?

Yes, you CAN fit a case of shotgun shells into a .50cal ammo can.

I think i found an optimal solution for ammo can labeling.

I made this target for the NRA's Marksman pistol test. I think it's a lot better than the paper plate they suggest.

It looks like the targets are 2.5" diameter. So I doubt the target holder will work with standard clays which are much thicker and larger in diameter.

I have a feeling these "visichalk" discs are just like the daisy shatterblasts which are no better than a ritz cracker and about the same size.
