        HAHA!!!

The girl that was trying to buy ammo at the same time as me was in the academy. We both had to wait 30 minutes...

          Feel better now?

I don't know what the big surprise is.

I know I'm surrounded by morons.

I don't let it bother me

I just move on to the next one

Until I get what I want

          Less stress all around

And I don't let them rent space in my head

Maybe Wal-Mart is now requiring their employees to get COEs to be eligible to handle ammunition.

That is the only thing that makes sense.

Which may not be true, so we would be back to square one.

The Wal-Mart by me doesn't even put ammo in a case, it is out in the open like the shotgun shells usually are. If no one is around I just help myself.

In Sacramento city limits, your required to show an ID, sign and thumb print . Just for a box of .223.

Seems like that's probably going to spread statewide.

Or make sure they're not prohibited persons - such as felons.

I would not buy ammo at Wal-Mart. Some will argue we should because it will drive Wal-Mart to start selling firearms again in most of their CA stores like they used to - something they apparently have announced they will do.

But I can't help but think one should support their local gun stores instead, even if that means paying 20% more. The last thing we need is to have Wal-Mart kill the mom-and-pop stores, and then we're left with Wal-Mart's boring selection and inept employees.

True, I buy ammo online, but I make it a point to also buy ammo from the local gun stores as well. No way I'm buying it at Wal-Mart.

The problem is it's not 20% more. If I'm buying what I normally buy, I'll easily spend another $100 at a gun store over the internet or Walmart. To me this is unacceptable. How is they can sell you a gun at a discounted sale price, but ammo rarely goes on sale, and when it does, it only comes in line with Walmart and the internet?

I don't like being price gouged, and if the gun store can't sell me ammo at a reasonable price, then I don't buy from them. If the gun stores stop selling ammo all together, it still wouldn't bother me because I never buy there. Even if gun stores didn't make any profit on ammo, it would still bring people into their store for other items. Like Walmart does for me. I go there for ammo, and my wife buys other things there. So we can both shop at the same store and get what we want.

Good thing there are no Walmarts inside Sac city limits that sell ammo. They'd be in trouble.
