Sounds to me like there was attitude on both sides of the counter from what I read.
After I left is when I had the attitude. I hardly said anything at all while I was there because I was in shock that they would treat people like that.

Sorry I did not know that. The way the post was written looks like it was all happening in the store. My mistake. i read more in the story than there was.Trust me the last place I would go to do a PPT is MBR. i rather slam my privates in my truck tailgate. I went there for a PPT and we waited about 3 hours. And the other calgunner that was buying the gun had a wife that was about ready to pop the baby right there. I heard every excuse from them. i finally said forget it its not worth it. Ended up having to wait another 45min to a hour before we were able to do the PPT. The buyer and I were both dumbfounded at the gross idiocy of the place. yes they were 'busy" with people in the store. Problem was NOBOLDY was buying anything. Everyone was a lookie loo. And the stupid thing was I was looking at a SA M1 and i was ready to buy the one on the shelf with cash and my ATM card as soon as i sold the other gun. So not only did they lose any future purchases from me they lost a $1800 sale. This was back whrn the gun market was heating up with 300 stripped lowers and gun prices were moving up.
you can dig far back enough you will find my post.

Yeah it sucks because the last thing I want to do is bash a shop but there are times when it calls for it. I really wish it had gone differently because I would have bought from them. I honestly feel bad for the calgunner that I was selling the gun to because they were basically calling him a liar to his face.

I'd have to say out of all the MBR threads I've read this one has the most positive posts in it. Usually mostly negative stories.

Several years ago I went in a few times and was impressed with the selection. Right after the RAW laws went through I got interested in FALs. I researched and found out how to build a compliant rifle ( found 10 round mags, a way to "permanently attach" them and top cover which had a stripper clip guide build in for loading). At the time DSA would ship stripped receivers to CA but I needed to find a local FFL to take shipment. I was eager to do business with MBR so I went by there. The guy told me they wouldn't do it "because they knew what I was going to do with it" in a manner and tone of he was disgusted I would even venture to ask. There was no discussion of my plans or knowledge of the subject. I left feeling the turd had just called me a liar and a criminal after 30 seconds of conversation. I found another FFL. I've never bought anything there.

I would think the PPT would be an oportunity for the store to get bodies in the door and foster repeat business at a later date. The $10 profit is insignificant.

^NOT THIS! It's called Customer Service, for a reason.

I'll give a store a 2nd chance only, to be rude. I don't mind being rude in return after that.

That being said, I've given Canyon Sports too many chances. So now I go in twice a year, be all nice to Zach, talk about all the gunstuff I'm doing, guns I'm buying, & then, spend $10.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.
