Why is it so hard to keep track of proper inventory on a website. This is 2011 not 1999.

I ordered a product on a Wednesday after hours. It shipped the following day and was received on Saturday. The price was great and I got it in a few days; no complaints from me.

I placed an order for some Glock mags yesterday morning and received an email notice earlier today stating that the mags are on back order for 1-2 weeks. I am a teeny bit worried, as this is my first purchase from them (I've read about all the horror stories), but I appreciate that Botach gave me a prompt notice and didn't leave me hangin in the dark. For this, I decided not to cancel my order. Hopefully, this will be a smooth transaction.. So far, so good. Oh, and I disregarded everyone's recommendations to call them before placing an order to check if the items are in stock having read about others who recently purchased Glock mags with fast shipment. Lesson learned! Never wing it!

I'll share my recent experience. I ordered a MOE stock and trigger guard a few weeks back, and had a shipping confirmation the next day. When my order arrived, I noticed the trigger guard was missing. I promptly e mailed customer service as well as Mike (mike@botach) to see what happened just because there was no indication that anything was on backorder. Both customer service and mike e mailed me the next day to inform me that the trigger guard was on backorder and that it'd be a couple weeks before they got more. I was fine with that, as I just wanted to see what happened. To my surprise, I got a shipping confirmation 2 days or so later that the trigger guard was coming. 3 days later, I had it, along with a free hat! No other issues, Botach is good to go.

I ordered 2 glock 17 mags when they had that one day special where they were going for $20 a piece shipped, I got an email later that day saying they were out of stock. I wasn't really in a rush to get them so now I'm just waiting for them to get it back in stock and ship it out. I'll probably give them a week or so before I email them to see whats up.

So far so good, I was notified about them being out of stock which is more notice than some other peoples experiences that I've read about on here.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Botach again, they called my phone to confirm my order via card and the item in question I bought from them arrived in 2 days with free shipping.
