Has anyone purchased from this shop? Website indicates "Cops & Military Only" but I just ordered 2 G19 magazines ($22/each), no tax and free shipping. Seems to be the most inexpensive prices I could find (checked Natchez/Midsouth/Midway=prices ranged from $27 to $29). Yes I have a Mil ID, but didn't use it.

Yes I have purchased a couple times from them. Not an LEO or Military.
They will not break down large capacity mags for rebuild kits is one of the only problems besides some customer service issues I've heard from other people.

Search is your friend... tons of threads here about them. Botac is very much hit or miss. People who order from them either have had zero issues or have had nothing but problems.
Their great pricing is matched, in many instances, by a distinct lack of customer service and follow through.
YMMV.

I used to say they have two types of customers. Those they have screwed and those they will screw. However, it seems like they have been doing better lately. Their BBB grade is no longer an F.Comment

I've had 2 NEGATIVE experiences and 1 positive experience from BoTach myself... best advice I can give is to go ahead and order, but DON'T be surprised if you get screwed by them not shipping your order or notifying your for WEEKS....

And, be prepared to potentially have to call them repeatedly and hear information that turns out not to be true. My last experience was so bad I ended up calling them daily to hear why my order didn't ship day after day from stock. Not a great use of all my "spare" time.Comment

I ordered on Friday (2 G1910 magazines), shipped/picked up on Monday, received on Weds. So, I have no complaint. Thanks for all the other info tho.Comment

For the most part, I've had a good experience with Botach. I had one order that was back ordered and when I called to cancel, it took forever for someone to pick up the phone. Also, the last time I went down there, they let me in with my firefighter ID and were great to deal with. You'll hear bad things, but overall for me, good has outweighed the bad. Good prices and huge inventory.Comment
