wow you complain sooo much bout 10 days if you dont like the law MOVE then look at texas and alaska they have higher rate s of violent crimes being commited by firearms bought that day so complain all you want but give it time other states will follow the 10 day someday
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774_1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

Just wondering, where are you getting this information about higher crime rates in Texas and Alaska with firearms procured on the same day?

Sigh.. i hate how these laws are set, even the regular mags becomming low cap. Sigs comes factory stock with 15rd mags, it is not considered high cap, but for some reason California has to make them low cap, it wouldn't even deter crime just making a more unfair fight between the law abiding citizen and the criminals.

So If the government decided to put various arbitrary restrictions on any of your other rights you'd be fine with that? How about a ten day wait before you could join any religion? How about if they abolished the 4th amendment because all warrants do is give criminals time to hide their criminal activities. how about a 10 day background check before anyone can vote?

Or better yet, a ten day fact checking period on all press entities. As we all know first day news is never the most accurate, so after ten days of fact checking they can report the news that happened ten days previous...

You have a true hollywood/sanfran mindset though...

These retarded scenarios I come up with make as much sense as the ten day wait... so don't underestimate the stupidity of the majority in CA

That makes absolutely no sense. I do my part to teach people about guns and safety, but it's people like you who are willing to live and let live the stupid laws of yesteryear, because "there is not much we can do about it now... plus I have seen statistics, the laws actually work"

I have no illusions of clearing all the CA bull**** up in the next week, heck not even in the next ten years. But I do see great orgs such as CGF, NRA, CRPA and others putting it on their agenda.

I don't go around complaining about the laws either unless someone such as yourself brings up the "positive effect" and your respect for what the law has done...
