    Air Rifles Gamo? Stoeger?

I'm taking my 3 nephews fishing this weekend and since we'll be at Bass in Manteca getting them some gear, I'd lake to maybe pick up an air rifle for them to try. They're ages 7,9,15. Do they have any break barrels that a young kid could easily operate? I like several of the Gamo rifles, but they'll be fully supervised of course, that is if my sister gives me the ok I'm lookin for plain advice from users of said rifles or suggestions on other brands.

Please don't make this into a discussion of the molecular structure and fail rate of the trigger, or chamber port blah blah, you know how it goes.

I've got a Ruger air hawk break barrel that I love. Whatever the case, if its for plinking id stick to .177 and not .22 because the fps drops off significantly with the bigger caliber. Just my .02

Interestingly, my 13 yo daughter liked the air guns but my 9 yo son did not. He was really into the bow and arrows!

He didn't like the loud noises (in his opinion) of the air guns and didn't want to wear ear guards.

Really got into the arrows tho!

On edit, the gamo 1200fps break barrel is a fun rifle. Stiff to break, but should be ok for at least the 15 yo.

      I have this one:

Many / most of the full sized springers are now 1,000 FPS guns and might be too hard for the 7-9 year old kids to cock.
Look for one with a lower velocity so the kids can cock it easily.
Also, teach them and watch them carefully as to the proper hold on the barrel and gun so they don't pinch their fingers when cocking and loading.
I have a Gamo "Cadet" springer that is short, light, easy to cock and accurate that is perfect for the kids (but it does not have the range as the bigger springers).
You might look for something like this.
