As seller let buyer inspect gun, get paid go do paperwork. Once the send button is push, the buyer owns gun so if they refuse to pay send at that time, I sort of SOL.
As buyer, inspect gun, pay for gun, do paperwork.

Why?

I dont know but I have been to more than one shop that insisted that both parties go outside to exchange the cash.

Seems odd to me but since it has happend more than once and at different places it makes me think there must be a reason behind it...?

I was recently the "buyer" at a PPT. We handled everything right in the shop, including the payment. The owner didn't mind. Seller filled out his part then I filled out my part, paid the $35 DROS and waited the 10 days and now I have my new toy! Really painless.

I did a PPT at sharpshooter in torrance and i was the seller. i just showed them my ID and it took 3 minutes. we exchanged cash inside the store and they didnt mind.
