    Yup.
I don't mind cats, but I think they should be kept inside.

Really? Every single one? Sorry, but that just pegs my BS meter. My neighborhood for example is overrun by collarless feral cats that breed like crazy. They bother my chickens, they urinate and defecate all over my yard, and occasionally they wake us up with the INSANE noises they can make at night.

These aren't peoples pets. They're varmints.

Last I checked various hunting forums, varmint shooting is one of Americas favorite past times.

Why would you shoot a squirrel? Or a coyote? Or a deer? Or a cow? Or a rabbit? Or a groundhog?

      That is just stupid..

If it's a clean legit shoot (feral cat, urinating and defecating all over your property, messing with your chickens), what exactly is "dumb" or "cruel" about it?

Why are we allowed to talk with joy about killing coyotes and deer and no one raises a stink, but when the subject of cats comes up all of a sudden it's "dumb", "cruel", "stupid", "dick maneuver", etc.

Look, if you're all against hunting that's one thing and I can accept and respect that. But don't be ok with hunting and then get all hypocritical when it comes to an animal that you think is cute and should be a pet.

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
