    Raahaughe's or Prado and why?

There about the same distance for me. I have shotguns and pistols (no tacs or long range weapons). Which range do you prefer and why?

Some comments on price, crowds and service would great. Thanks all!

Never been to Prado but go to Raagaughe's all the time. Only bad thing with Raagaughe's is the pricing & wait time if you go on the weekends. It's $35 a gun and this weekend I waited 2hrs before getting a spot then they only let us stay for an hour and it clearly states $35 for 2 hours

That doesn't sound good. I went for the shootout, which was great. Thinking about trying some skeet there and also my pistols.

$35 was for 2 hours on the pistol range? How long is the range?

Yes $35 is what I pay per gun each time I go. I take 3 guns and it cost me $90 for 2 hours for the 3 guns. I would say the ranges are 35-50 yards or so. I was going to get a membership so I didn't have to pay each time but he said $450 for a year. Looking at other ranges their prices are no where near that price and memberships are 2+ years.

The only think I like about that range is it's kinda private you don't have a shooting line with 30+ people and have to wait to get your targets and etc. There is about 10 U shaped ranges and 3 brick wall pistol ranges and you get the whole section most of the time.

I know tell me about it. I need to find another range that has the same setup. I hate firing lines. Tired of guns being pointed at me. Only good thing at Mike's you don't have to worry about guns being pointed cause your in your own berm

Anybody got any comments on Prado?

I go to Prado all the time for skeet, $7 a round, cheaper than triple b's or rahuegees. I only go on weekdays and it's usually pretty empty, I went to rahuegees on a Saturday and it was pretty packed. It feels pretty laid back at Prado. And as far as the pistol range, I think they only allow rimford but I'm not sure.

WOW! Two trips ($180) would pay for my 12 month membership at West End Gun Club. 24/7 access with ranges from 15 yards to 600 yards. Shooting bays with 25-75 yard backstops all to yourself or your group. 3 guests can shoot with you free, anytime. And take as many guns as you want.

handgun range is any handgun caliber, the rifle range is only rimfire.

the shotgun range is skeet only, so you can't do any static target shooting with shotguns iirc.

Bummer about Prado changing policy. They allowed ARs before the flood.
