"Boomer1961" Is blowing smoke out of his\her a-- and knows not of what will be or not be. The mayor of San Fransicko can speek all he wants about the Cow Place Show BUT he can do NOTHING about that show. The Cow Place is state owned and not even in san fransicko county.
The mayors buddy Mark Leno can and has done something with there political machine coinciding for greater press coverage. It does not look like they will get the ban done by January 1st as originally hoped but there camp fires are still burning and I think nothing short of a NUKE will stop them.

LAST year's Cow Palace Crossroads show was MY very Last. With a few exceptions, the place was populated with over-priced junk. I'd be surprised to hear about anybody actually getting a good deal on a GUN at the Cow Palace. I was there for almost four hours. I missed the last...but Second to last show I was there and saw 'some' guns move...mostly pistols...but yep; alotta guys take thier wares there thinking to score big. Saw a guy I know from a gun store (employee) trying to sell of a Mosin for $239
...nope, no fin, no special nuttin'...just a run of the mil Big 5 $79.00 moisin.....and people were actually stopping to talk
Parts.....
Parts are hit-n-miss; I HAVE found some good priced garand parts there...but then again its mixed amongst 20 others trying to ream you. "Good" deals on OLL stuff IF YOU DONT MIND CHINA-MART stuffs; some do, some dont....for a forearm I could care less...but on more important parts like bases, rings, etc. I DO care
Ya' just gotta keep in mind...THAT is what Gun shows are all about...becoming wise(er) than the last time & seeking the DEALS not the flops............
