Added some LED's to my Safe.

Well the room I have my safe in doesn't have very good lighting to see into the safe and the safe doesn't have a hole to run lighting and I didn't want to drill into it.

Calguns Member gti_20ae does LED lighting and I got a Battery operated system that has a on/off switch and a door switch so when the door on the safe is opened the lights come on automatically. The LEDs are on a strip with plastic protection.

This is what it looks like with normal room lighting.

And now with the LED lighting on

It was $40 shipped he has 2 styles of LED's one is higher brightness then the other mine is the brightess one and it came with the on/off switch, Battery Pack & door sensor.

If I can remember right the lower brightness LED's are $30 for the length I got them in.

That lights up pretty good. If my safe were that empty, I'd leave the lights off

Thank you TBDesigns for your feedback on my prototype. I am in the process of mass producing this light, once the finish product is ready in 3 weeks, I will be selling them on Calguns and local gun show. Here is some information on the light kit, I will be having 2 sizes, first kit is for large safe, consist of 2 48" LED strip, on/off switch, and battery holder. The other kit would be for a smaller safe, consist of 2 24" LED strip, on/off switch, and battery holder. Both kit would be fully expandable, you can add on additional LED strip for more light, or additional on/off switch. Price would be $40 for the 48" system and $30 for the 24" system. The LED light takes 8 AA battery, and battery life is about 6 month if you use the safe light about 15-20 min a day.

I am about to work on these light next week, I would like to get some feedback or suggestion.

Below are pictures of the light kit on my safe.
