I think CGN needs to have a booth inside the restaurant (home improvement Calgunners where are you?) like Walmart, Target, etc - lol

Or... maybe the booth needs an eatery inside of it. I was just thinking that if there was more room at the show, we could have bar stools and beer... but I might just get myself banned

How was the show today? Was it busy as Saturday? I was planning on going to buy more ammo but didn't get to make it.

It was a good crowd for Sunday in spite of the weather, people being at church, or just sleeping in late (like I dream about but rarely do!) The best part is that volunteers such as yourself soon develop this thing called a "fan base."

I would like to believe that people get used to having CGN at the show and want to see the folks working the booth.

It was a pleasure chatting with both of you and congrats again on finishing up on your studies!

She's tough and doesnt take any lip. Lol, 23 long years to set my butt straight. Really though, shes great and really interested in learning more about firearms in general and shooting, along with the 2A/RKBA issues. She was actually apprehensive about firearms at first but going through the research process in preparing to buy my first pistol and especially going through the HSC guide and knowing one of the guys at The Last Gun Shop in Napa helped; as time has gone on, talking to other people (especially other women shooters) and going to the range has actually made her far more comfortable than she originally was. She is a great example of using education to remove the apprehension/uncertainty and really show people that not every gun owner is the stereotypical slack-jawed yokel.

I have to say, this one was much better than the one last September. Far more C&Rs, less handguns, and way more .22s and hunting caliber rifles too. Nice to see the beef jerky booths still around, but that crackling of the Tazers/StunGuns can go... Also, a lot more ammo/reloading vendors it seemed; swiped any 7.5 Swiss I could, 3 boxes of Wolf, and got some leads on brass and reloading components. All in all, I hope the Vallejo shows keep improving (in my eyes) like this.
