Vallejo Gun Show this Weekend

Anyone going? For me this is probably the best show in the bay area. It's going to be raining this weekend so this is a nice indoor getaway. Will CGN have a booth?

between gas, parking, entrance fee and the amount of UTG stuff at gun shows in CA, it's cheaper to shop online.

PLUS, I refuse to pay sales tax to a state that miss mananges it's funds.

Unless, of course, you love beef jerky, THEN gunshows are a must.

The beef jerky is the only reason I go to the Cow Palace Show these days .

The Vallejo show is definitely not the Cow Palace with the limited space so the focus is more on firearms.

The last two times I was at the Cow Palace (Jan and April of this year) there were booths selling beer bongs, a booth selling Egyptian 300 thread count bed sheets and a booth selling sunglasses and cameras. WTF? At least the shamwow guy took a break from the show.

Never know what might pop up as a good deal. Picked up this 1966 vintage Colt DS at the last Vallejo show for 4 bills. Hidden in the corner of a case.

CGN booth will be staffed and ready both days. I'll be there on Sunday.

Since I will be DROSing a new (to me) shotgun on Saturday I don't know how much shopping I'll do on Sunday. But from having attended several Vallejo shows over the past year, it's easily the best in the immediate Bay Area.

Keep an eye out for Iggy, I spotted him there about a year ago, making a beeline from the entrance to Miwall and then straight to the exit.
