I went to the Crossroads show at the end of April and really enjoyed myself. It was my first show. I even made some purchases.

The one upcoming is the Roadrunner show that has been there for a long time.

I hope I get the chance to go to it so that I can compare the two shows. Every vendor I talked to said the Crossroads show was far better than the previous Roadrunner shows.

Now I can find out if that's true.

Vallejo is somewhat one of the better ones in the bay area. Miwall will be crazy as usual, and there are alot of older guns and and a little bit of reloading components. Never bought the jerky but hear it's the best thing about the show lol. You can typically buy extra mag's for your guns and there are some AR/Ak parts/accessories. There's been more taser booths lately and oh yeah the vendor who tries to sell you a bracelet that will increase our strength 10x and all that stuff (i usually say i bought one last show but forgot to put it on so i don't get harassed about trying it out lol) I like to just see the older rifles and stuff like that.
I don't know if anything is really cheaper because you have admission which is like $10 and then parking so you could be spending $20 just to get into the show (just fyi)

Yep, In my experience going to Ventura since the early-late 80's (when CA shows were booming..ie Great Western) these days, with the recent addition of CrossRoads coming to Ventura this year, there seems to be more of a following with vendors than McMann's. Don't get me wrong, McMann's Roadrunner is a more than loyal promotor and have been keeping Ventura a float for MANY, MANY years.
