Yea, saw it on MSNBC last night. Lawrence O'Donnell went on (at least) a 10 minute diatribe against the Wisconsin Legislature because they passed senate bill 93 it yesterday.

Constitutional Carry for one more free state... the dominoes are dropping.

That was a pretty funny video. Seems like the MSM still think everybody watches only 3 networks and get most of their "news" from them. LOL! Soooo last century!

Not only do most people have a zillion channels to choose from (and thus don't watch those 3 old dinosaurs), but more and more people are skipping TV all together and only use the internet.

BTW IIRC, I heard that Montana's legislature has passed a Con Carry bill and it is now on the governor's desk awaiting his/her signature. Is that true?

Using O'Donnell's "logic" it is only reasonable that the government should immediately stop O'Donnell from expressing his point of view, as protected by the 1st amendment, because somewhere a crazy person may yell fire in a crowded theater.

By the way, I am dissapointed that he forget to say" think of the children."

That video was absolutely void of any rational analysis tying Con Carry to Laughner and this abortionist wannabe killer. It seemed more of an argument for a total gun ban. No mention that WI is an open carry state already, so the only difference is the gun is now under someone's clothing. No wonder their viewership is in free fall.

I am ever hopeful that Wisconsin passes this bill. While the handwringing ninnies talk and talk about how crazy Loughner and Lang are, they completely ignore the fact that the victims cannot be protected from such harm unless they were equally armed. They also continue demonizing the emplement and not the action- not taking into account that if you ban the 'thing' you still dont get rid of the 'crazy'.

It would be like me wanting to ban televisions (or the internet), so I don't have to be exposed to Lawrence O'Donnell again.

Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Sometimes the law places the whole apparatus of judges, police, prisons and gendarmes at the service of the plunderers, and treats the victim -- when he defends himself -- as a criminal. Bastiat

Rep. Donna Seidel says, "We should consider adding places like domestic abuse shelters, childcare centers, all government buildings, hospitals, and bars and restaurants."
County Executive Joe Parisi's office says they want to look at banning guns at the zoo, outside the airport, and any large event where families gather including Brat Fest.
In other words, a de facto ban outside the home, even with SI/CC... I only hope that our pro's are on to this agenda.

And speaking of "leaving it up to the individual business", I also hope that the next USSC argument addressing "carry" will not just address the issue of why the 2A is only applicable to within the home, but also "why are businesses allowed to disarm patrons?", or there may need to be another case action for that particular item, and it could be another first.

I've said before that if CC passes, the anti's are going to have another one of those "be careful what you wish for" moments because of how they have (I think they have, and I had a headache all day yesterday) prevented "SI Only" from passing.

To only dream of us getting there. Who knows, with redistricting into the future?

              Erik.

He's going on and on about the "without a permit" part.

THEY HAD PLENTY OF EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES TO PASS IT WITH A PERMIT BUT THEY DECIDED NOT TO TAKE THOSE OPPORTUNITIES. And so now this is what they will get.

And it was obvious to all that a CCW bill would sooner or later pass and if it passed under a Republican governor it would be "constitutional carry".

They have no one to blame but themselves. CCW reform is a train that is coming. By deciding not to participate in it, they (the Democrats in WI) excluded themselves from having any control over it.

I think Lawrence O'Donnell might be in the news someday because he shot someone. He's way too anti to be normal. I think there is something boiling inside the man about shooting guns.

Lol, I honestly thought Lawrence was going to explode during his rant. But he just kept going and going...

But once again the dominoes are dropping because of electoral action ie WI voters put more pro 2A politicians into office in last year's elections. The exact opposite happened in CA.

That's what the problem is with anti's. They're so afraid of what they may do with a gun that ALL people are guilty of this.

Clearly the lack of a permit would have stopped this nutjob from carrying concealed firearms.....

Wow, Lawrence basically admitted he thinks America is not the best country on Earth. Then why so many people trying to still live here? This guy is scum.
