Of course not. but that can be said for any law and misinterpretation by LEO and DA's. I wouldn't pick out this specific law as lone example. Doing so seems to say there's something wrong with the OLL issue, it's not safe, rather than the real problem is with those that enforce the laws improperly. Plenty of people are wrongfully arrested for many other laws as well, and go through the same thing. Look how many people have been freed from old rape or murder charges, after spending many years in prison because evidence or the trial was stacked against them with bias. Years later DNA not only proved their innocence, but that same evidence linked the crime to the real culprit. suddenly all the evidence previously used to convict the innocent guy looks ridiculous & leaves people saying 'how did this guy ever get convicted on this in the first place?'

Sometimes laws are over-enforced and it can be done with any law. Plenty of people still have felony charges from their past from decades ago for having a small amount of marijuana where now being caught with double that amount doesn't even get you looked at. It had been said from the beginning that this OLL issue was not risk free. Everyone knew that, just as everyone knew there would be people like I.C. and other DOJ who might distort the laws to fit their anti needs.

With that, maybe pics posted of these things should not be posted... BWO can attest to this. It all started with a picture, of a legal firearm that was misinterpreted by some worthless LEO. That's all it takes to end your happy worry-free existence.

That's the sad reality of the world our parents have left to us.
