USP mags when purchased new are ~35 bucks or so each, which I think is reasonable, although I did just pick up a bunch used for $20 each...

I would recommend that you go to a B&M store or a gunshow to check one out, and even better rent one at an indoor range to pop off a few rounds, that's what convinced me to pull the trigger on a USP.

Ahh I was referring to USP9 mags, don't know about the .45's. I do believe new factory usp9 mags go for about 35

It's not that people don't like HK, I think it's a combination of the price point, and the reputation their customer service has.

Their prices may or may not be a bit inflated, and they consider their civilian sales a 'side business'.

OP, in a few words that pretty much sums up HK for you. People on here don't hate HK.

HK's mentality seems to be like their doing us a favor by allowing us to purchase their products. I personally dislike that, don't hate HK at all though, they make excellent products.

A few of my friends have them and absolutely love them. They are one of the most accurate pistols I have shot.
