Yes, they do carry CMMG. Also Danes, Stag, and others. Call them to see what is in stock. 510-226-7910.

          Irvinton Arms Out Rages

Well I bought my first handgun from the Irvinton Arms and the whole transaction went very smothly. They were all frienly people, reasonable price and etc. However as their popularity increased, they reflected this in to their transfer fee and I think they become the most expensive FFL dealer on entire US.

Last time ( two weeks ago) it cost me $100 to do transfer on regular handgun and this was my last time to make business with them and it is a shame

Alot of dealers here been charge $100. They do some you order the gun from them. It balances out the total cost. The cheapest guy here is $75 but it's a slow process... You'lll spend a hour there for sure.

Their transfer fee is high, but their gun prices are reasonable, if not downright cheap. Just ask them to get you what you need. Their service is also excellent.

Their new transfer price, while not cheap, is certainly not the highest in they Bay Area, let alone the U.S. There are a few others around that'll charge you $150 or 10% of the firearm transferred. If all you want is transfers, there're a few garage FFL's who'll do it for cheaper. I don't believe Irvington raised their price just because they could. It was a little doubtful whether they were even going to stay in business a while back. And look at them now, a fuller inventory, great service (always there by the way), sometimes crowded store, and just a great place to hang out. If they are making a few deserved bucks more so that a place like that can stick around, I am all for it.

When I bought my stag lower three days ago, that was the only one they had in stock. (It was $160)

We're waiting on Spike's Tactical lowers, our order from Dane and CMMG are also waiting to be filled. Currently we do have Stag's in stock and 1 AK receiver.

Thanks to all of you for your continued patronage

I'm sorry to hear you think we are the most expensive. Just for grins, ask Reeds in SanJose to do a transfer for you
We only raised our fee 19 bucks in 4 years. Have you goten a raise in the last 4 years?

We raised the price because transfers were taking all our time. We wanted to shift the interest into buying from the store, where we are very competative with pricing almost anywhere, including the internet.

$160 for a Stag is very good. Same as buying $110 from internet + $50 minimum transfer fee to your FFL.

I will definitely buy my next gun from Irvington Arms. They where a big contributing sponsor for the CA State IDPA Championships this year. The will get my business from now on because they contributed to the sport I like.

Does the $160 include DROS fees?

With all do respect to Irvington Arms, I can get a Stag lower for $98.00 shipped to my FFL and total DROS fee of $55.00

$100 is the going rate these days.

I've been going to Bay Area gun stores for years - and all of them (White Bear, Traders, Hogans - I won't mention all the ones still in business) treated me like I was bothering them just being in the store -- and if I dared ask a question, I got a condescending lecture.

These stores had ground me down so much that when I first went to Irvington, I thought it was odd to be greeted by friendly employees and treated with respect. As long as they keep up the stellar customer service, all my in-person business will go to Irvington, despite the 45 min. commute each way.
