    Wow. Wow. Wow.

This is beyond me. I learned reloading from Speer Manual #11. After all the scrutiny my rounds receive, this kind of thing is near impossible. I am blown away (heh) that this stuff actually happens because I can't imagine letting it happen.

          & can be expensive!
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

A pre-lock gun wouldn't have let go like that..... j/k

And a .45 ACP no less. Takes some really serious overpressure to get those results in an N frame with that cartridge. Glad everyone involved is okay.

I don't think so... and it scares the crap out of me to think that guns repaired in this manner may be out there at the ranges I frequent.

But now it doesn't qualify for the SAO roster exemption

Damn! That is crazy. Your friend is lucky he didnt get hurt.

A review of his reloading procedures is in order and he should stop reloading immediately until he learns to do it safely. That much powder in a case is just pure negligence.

Weld that thing back together and hit up a buy back.
