I have one of their M3 clones in a Larue QD Mount and one Micro Dot in the American Defense QD mount. They are both perfect for my casual use.

I have the PA M4 comp copy. Great little thing, a bit heavy, but uses AA's...

I have a gen 2(?) micro dot on my PC4, its still ticking after 1000 rounds. I love it, but my buddy loves the Vortex. He mentioned that the buttons do get tapped, turning it on unintentionally.

I have one of the gen 2 micro dot blems where the holes were drilled all the way through. The only thing I didn't like was the LED emitter on the bottom stuck up interfered with the iron sights but I'm still very happy with if for the price. From what I understand they fixed that and they also have better battery life now. I'm thinking of getting another and demoting my old one to my AK.

I can't speak to PA stuff, but I have a vortex sparc and I love it. I got it through Liberty optics, (which gives a discount to Calguns members) and I've talked to the Vortex warranty people, and theirs is a no fault warranty. Drop the rifle of a cliff, find it and send it in they'll send you a new one.

We all know the history behind the Laser Halo but it's the only one.

I called and bought 2 Micro dots. I will start a thread showing my results.

Which mounts/setups did you go with?
After your thread I began looking at the PAs for my wife and son's ARs as well as my GSG.
I love them, but I'm not dropping the $$ for Aimpoints for them, now on my rifles? Well, that's another story

Also, any thoughts on their magnifiers or Vortex's?

I have one of the PA 5X magnifiers. It's very clear and seems to work well with the micro dot. Good deal. Not really my thing though. Adjustment seems kind of slow but it's the only magnifier I've played with. I have an Accupoint if I really want a magnified optic. I'm selling the PA magnifier.

                              Sure.
-The Field of vision is much smaller than what I thought would be useful.
-When the 2X magnifier is installed, the red dot is at the bottom 1/3 to 1/4 of the FOV. Why oh why?!?!
-It comes with a POS clamshell lens cap that is worthless.

It was a waste of nearly $200 and I do not like it. IMO, my Centerpoint is an order of magnitude better than the Sparc Vortex.
