Who owns who?

I was reading on another board about a large Mfg possibly in talks to sale itself out to another major Mfg. This got me thinking of what Mfg own what other brands. Of the brands that I know of are:

Mossberg owns Savage
Beretta owns Benelli & Stoeger


Anyone know any others?

Mossberg doesn't own Savage.

Savage is privately owned by a group of people led by Ronald Coburn.

Mossberg is still owned by the Mossberg family.

Cerberus Capitol Investments owns Remington, Bushmaster, DPMS, Marlin and Advanced Armament Co.

Actually Winchester is owned by Olin Coporation who licenses FN Herstal to manufacture rifles under the Winchester name. Olin still owns the Winchester ammunition and rifle names.

You're right. I seem to recall reading about Olin Corporation putting Winchester up for sale a while back but I guess something fell through.

What I'm reading is Olin Corporation kept the Winchester trademark and have parted out a lot of what Winchester used to do. They have a licensing agreement with FN Herstal/Browning to manufacture Winchester rifles and shotguns. They've sold Winchester's European ammunition division to a French ammunition company that has a licensing agreement to continue manufacturing Winchester ammunition for European markets.
