Stag 2H here, not a problem with it yet after thousands of rounds of brass / russian crap.Originally posted by CSACANNONEERAh, the old "form over function" argument. I guess some people would rather be seen with a hot blonde who won't put out than with a "Neil 8" who will make you

Don't own one but know people who do. Shot them and liked it. Their pricing is great for what you're getting.Comment

My first build was a Stag lower with an LMT mil-spec upper. The fit together rock solid and the carbine shoots like a champ, up to and including yesterday.
Very hard to go wrong with Stag, either components or complete rifles.

I've been doing research and have yet to come across any brand where the consensus is that it totally sucks. Lots of personal preference and you'll quickly learn the "baller" brands.
Also plenty of bargains to be had. If I didn't impulse buy some stripped lowers I'd probably buy a full Spike's rifle.Comment

I also have a Stag. Never had an issue with reliability during the 4000+ rounds fired.
Had a scope mounded at one time and is very accurate on the limited 100 yard range I shoot on. Wish I had access to a longer formal range.
