Stag AR-15

My co-worker is looking for a Stag AR-15M4. We don't have any experience or knowlege about ARs.

What do you think of this brand and particular this model?

I'm not to knowagable about the model your speaking of but I will conferm that any Stag product is quality stuff. They are one of the top producers of AR rifles. You can't go wrong with there products.

Stag is to AR's as Wrangler is to Jeans. They make rifles for other "rifle makers". Stag makes everything in house and often sell their product to other companies under a different emblem. They have government contracts too. Stag comes with a lifetime warranty. They are high quality rifles at an affordable price because they don't have a middle producer.

I will give my .02 on Stag. I have owned Stag rifles in 2 calibers and have found them solid and reliable rifles. In the AR type platform that is all I own.

I have a stag upper on my build. I have fed it several thousand rounds between wolf, federal, Winchester and my own reloads. Not a single issue. Awesome stuff for the money imo

I have a Stag 2T with about 2500 rounds through it so far and not a single failure. No failures to fire, feed or extract. No double feeds, nothing. The accuracy is good, the parts are good quality and Stag support is awesome from what I hear. I don't know for sure though because I've never had to call them.

I've fired a bunch of different kinds of ammo through it, from cheap russian stuff, to reloads, to good quality ammo. 55 grain and 62 grain m855. I would trust my life to my Stag.

well..no, but you are close.

The Owner of Stag, is the son of the Owner of CMT. CMT supplies most other manufacturers and the US Military with internal parts to the AR15. Stag gets most of his parts from his father's company CMT.

If say Colt has a huge order to fill and their machine shop can not get the order filled in time, they call CMT to take up the slack. The same is true for all other manufactures. The Military guys can order direct from CMT if the wish.
