What if you get some crack-pot LEO that doesn't know the difference? When the pistol is in the holster, isn't the barrel concealed? So, even if only half the weapon is exposed, IS it or ISN'T it . ? Like a glass half filled, is half-empty or half-full! Needs to really be clarified.

The law allows use of a holster, and does not consider that in itself to be concealed. However, openly carried guns IN HOLSTERS cannot be covered with clothing or gear by any amount.

Open is open. Concealed is concealed.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero
