Just an update guys - got most of it rebuilt and they are basically the same as the brand new generations. All I have to do now is replace the body - I have an order and it should be coming in today or tomorrow. I am just hoping they do not say LEO ONLY or something like that on it.

P.S. These things are NOT easy to take apart.

Yeah now that we can't buy the mags they are cheap again. I paid $135 each for factory glock G18 mags just before the ban. The crime bill and the Y2k panic did not help mag prices at that point in time. The G26 with a G18 mag is like a very reliable 9mm black plastic Mac10 machine pistol. The full size 9mm Glock pistols with a standard mag and a 140mm extention are also nice; 17+5 = 22 rounds of 9mm and it does not stick down that much below the bottom of the pistol.

Wow - that's a lot of money. I upgraded the mags with the metal parts (I had the old ones with no metal showing) and such - now I am just waiting on new mag bodies. It was less then $20 per mag.

Mags completely rebuilt! Housing is perfect! First time rebuilding a mag, - it was hard figuring out how to change the metal from the different generations. Pics will be up soon in the hand gun section, when I get my Glock 26. I have to put them threw torture tests now. If I did everything right there I expect not one FTF.
