definitely a very very small san jose show but i managed to pick up all my ammo as ordered so now i'll cruise the sf show tomorrow.

So what's up with the cow tax?

So if I don't have any cow's because the ex is in another state, do I still pay the cow tax?

And why is the price of cow's in San Francisco relevant to a Daly City gun show, .....

And to think I was going to go to the show and oogle over the

....and looking for purple plastic bee bees for my only in California Red (tipped) barrel airsoft. Got to love those airsoft's baby because as momma always said you could poke your eye out with those things......I just hope when Mr gang banger wannabee breaks into my house that he does not wear glasses else I am in trouble and defenseless...Well I could always hit him over the head with the thing but since it is plastic and those folks are thick skulled I am not sure how effective that would be....

........then of course the beanie babies and dental picks.....got to get a few more of those....


So 40 miles round trip at 42 cents/mile = $16.80
Bridge toll = $4
Parking = $8
Ticket = $9
Itty bitty teeeeeeny tiny Hot Dog = $5
Beer = $6

TOTAL = $48.80, and that is without even buying another dental pick.

Then again there maybe no more of these soon with only one other scheduled show before the ban so maybe I will go for old time sake.

The gun banners should just let nature take it's course because there are almost no guns sold at gunshows anyways and at current trends based upon projections from data gathered since 1989 it is predicted that the last dealer actually selling a real gun that goes bang will be at his last show on November 11th 2009. No special law is needed to stop this.

Just came back. I did a quick run-through, too. Saw a couple of Calgunners there. I saw Ghost but I didn't say, "hi" (I'm a bit shy). Saw and chatted a little with Illiana.
Barry Dawson was there with a table full of his knives. I really love his stuff. There was also a knifemaker named Rose. He had some neat stuff, too.
Miwall was a zoo, as usual. There was one guy selling powder and cases (no projos). He was all out of 4895 but he had boatloads of primers.

Yeah, I spent about $300 on ammo - 22lr, 9mm, .40 and 7.62x39 and some parts for Maddux Yugo AK.
Friend of mine spoke with Rose about 20 min and he'd going to buy one of these.
And I like Dawson Damascus knifes, if I stay additional 3-5 min maybe I will spend additional $280
Anyway I saw a few Makarovs from $220 - to $400 for German one.
I saw SU 16 -223 for $500 and SU-16-7.62 for $650

IMHO, the Cow Palace Gun Show is a waste of my time & effort. Did not even buy a thing... I was so disappointed and left in about 10 - 15 mins.

Yep, Reno show never disappoints and been going there for years. The Cow Palace show, however, gets worse every year.

Hehehe...yep... It looks like the budget will be spent next week though.

I already told my wife to give ALL my guns to you just in case something happened! (j/k...hopefully not!)

If you were there on Saturday, one guy had lots of ammo cans for very reasonable prices. If you do what I do "buy it cheap and stack it deep", then the savings is definetely worth the trip.
