    Low light shooting on BLM?

I did a search but didn't find anything helpful, google search didn't provide enough detail either.

Me and a few buddies are planning a camping trip out to Panoche before it closes for the fire season and figured we'd take the time to do some low light shooting while we were there. We'd take the necessary precautions for safety and we have all had pretty significant training/experience so I'm not worried about any safety aspects of it, I'm just wondering if it's legal.

I'm sure I'll end up calling BLM to make sure but wanted to see the consensus here as well.

There's county maps that you can get at your local BLM station that shows what you can fire, when you can fire it and when.

I'm not familiar with your area. I'd suggest you call and/or visit them.

You should check local county ordinances. That would be the most likely place night shooting would be banned if anywhere.

The BLM land I shoot at have offroader at all hours of the day. They often times unknowingly get between us and the target. It might be difficult to spot them when it gets dark. So, be careful out there...
