on a scale from 0-10 being:
0 - average door to door mormon
1 - guy who steals your morning news paper
2 - loiterers
3 - vandals
4 - burglars
5 - drugged up home invader
6 - multiple intruders
7 - mass mobs (rioting)
8 - red army/foreign army invasion
9 - fall of modern society WROL/ global nuclear fallout
10 - zombie apocalypse/alien takeover
as for me, my readiness only goes to 4 maybe 5. i would say im proficient in handling my firearms and if an individual tries to do something funny will see the business end of it. but to be honest, scenario 5-7 requires a lot of training and quick reaction to deal with multiple hostiles that odds are aren't going to turn tail because of one guy with a gun and frankly, i cant say im at that staged to engage at this point and time. 8+ pretty much consist of those who have been stockpiling ammo since the 70's or 80's and have maybe a year supply of MRE's/rations, water and med kits stored in their bomb shelter basement with a back-up generator for such an occasion. just curious to see how well prepare and trained some guys think they are.
