Gun Magazines - The Kind you Read

Handloader Magazine has pretty interesting and informative articles. Blue Press usually has some good shooting tips.

Surprised at all the nods for american rifleman. I usually just flip through it in a few minutes. Pretty fluffy with little information. Just like most gun magazines.

Any opinions on Guns & Ammo magazine specifically?

The subscription price seems good. I know the info is on the internet, but it's nice bathroom reading material, plus I can pass it on to my dad who's not on the net, and buddies, etc.

As a business expense, I'll only really be paying 60% of the $15 subscription price anyways...

American Rifleman.......I pick up a few from time to time depending on the articles inside. I hate the gun tests and advertising as I would estimate 90% of the guns reviewed are not available in California.

I get Gun Tests as well, plus the obligitory American Rifleman (currrently in its 125th year of publication) also the CRPA newsletter. Of course I get most of my info from calguns, I gave up on most of the other slick color mags.
They all seem to be in the business of pimping out whatever the newest offering is... I like my mags like my radio, NO commericals...
