Gun Magazines - The Kind you Read

What is everyone's favorite Gun Mag? Not the kind you load... The kind you Read. I tried a search - but as you can guess, I get alot of threads that are not what I'm looking for. Looking for something that has a little bit of everything - not so much Hunting related.

Gotta admit...I love mags.....great for research....but I am finding that it's hard to read a lot of gun mags because you read about all these cool things...only to find out later than they are not "california compliant" (I hate that term...have heard it many times in my quest for my first 1911)

Also, magazines can get rather expensive. If you want to read the magazine articles, but don't want to spend the cash, this is a good website. http://www.tactical-life.com/

              Enjoy, and you're welcome...

I like Gun Tests. It's a small low budget magazine that does just what the name says - test guns and write about the results. They don't accept any advertising so they remain free of the commercial pressures that sometimes brings.

                  I like the 'free' ones...

American Rifleman, thanks to NRA membership.

I also read Guns and American Handgunner, via the free digital editions they offer. I download issues as PDF files and browse them on my iPad.

Personally, I wouldn't pay for gun mags. Frankly the 'web is a better info source.

American Rifleman from the NRA. Everyone needs to receive an "American ..." from the NRA.

When I was a USPSA member, FrontSight magazine had tons of toys for me to drool over.

Great coverage of the best shooters in Rifleman and FrontSight.

Ya that one is better than I first expected it to be, seeing that it is kinda a free magazine.
