You may want to check, but it was my impression that unpermitted concealed carry was limited to Arizona citizens.

Nope. Resident or Nonresident. Anyone who can legally own a gun.

It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

When you do see it around town, the chances are overwhelming that it's a visitor or new resident, doing it just because they can. How do I know that? Aside from dress, manners, license plates, etc., they say so. I'm not saying OC is bad, just that at least around here, it's a giveaway.
I see it most often in gunshops. These are mostly AZ residents. Most commonly seen guns are XD(m)s, G17/22, and 1911's. The size makes them less ideal for CC.
People don't OC here much either. Of the 3 I spotted in the last few weeks there were hundreds of people not open carrying. But seeing those 3 was a big increase compared to the winter.

There are not many residents here to begin with. I live around retirees and snowbirds so I fear driving and walking on the sidewalk much more than guns.

Yeah I'm in Lake Havasu City, so I know exactly what you mean.

Except here the terror never ends. Snowbirds in the winter, springbreakers any time now, and boatpeople in the summer.

I know they are just waiting for you to come up to their car and ask them what the hell they are doing...meanwhile your looking at the business end of a HG.

If you are going anywhere near Scottsdale, go to the Scottsdale gun club, it's pretty much heaven for gun people, they had a gau-17 minigun setup in the front of the store when I walked in last year, uzis, thompsons, m249 saws for rent. Just give your credit card to your better half before you walk it, save you some money.

OC in Arizona. That's one-in-the-chamber-full-magazine-in-gun OC. It's legal and widely accepted in Arizona.

At this moment I'm typing away on my notebook in a Tucson sandwich/coffee shop infested with local liberals and snowbirds. No one has batted an eye or called 911 or scurried out the door screaming.
