This looks awesome but I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with them.

The link locked up FireFox and tried to load "releasevirusxp"" or something similar.

A year ago I asked a similar question about gunbuyingclub and the owner commented on my post. heres the link http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=326023
I never bought anything through them so I cant confirm or deny any reputability but I thought it was cool that the owner (or atelast someone who said he was the owner) wrote back. Not much info in the post but check it out. When I go to the website I just get the warning that some things are not transferred through the safe HTTPS would I like to only view the secure info blah blah blah and I click yes, I only want to see the secure info.

Edit: then again he only has a post count of 2 ...

I exchanged a few emails with him but when I got to, "what ffls in CA have you used" it ended right there. I wanted to talk to an ffl he has dealt with and he asked where in CA i lived and he never wrote back.

Hi guys, I'm Mike Young...I own GunBuyingClub.com. Yes, the site was hacked but now it's fixed and back up. If I missed an email I apologize. I have a number of CA members...from gun stores to cops to average citizens. We play by the CA rules. If you're a cop and want hi-cap mags we ship to your police department "in care of" per CA DOJ suggestion. I actually think I remember the email from jonzer77...I thought you said you wanted an FFL I already had on file so you could save the transfer fee...I tried to explain that even if I had an FFL on file that you'd still have to pay them to transfer it. Anyway, GBC is kind of like a Sam's Club for firearms. In our case, our profit is the member fee of $49.99 a year. The merchandise is sold at wholesale cost...zero profit. We don't stock inventory. The inventory and in stock you see on the site is synched up with the distributors. We order product as we sell it so we have no interest to pay on loans to stock inventory. You save a ton but it will take a few extra days to get your product. If the gun you want is out of stock then we allow you to Special Order it...it's more work on our end but I think it sets us apart. We ship as cheaply as possible without losing money on it. Just did all the calculations for 2010 taxes...we actually lost $13 on shipping in 2010. It's that tight. I hope you give us a chance...if you're an avid shooter we will save you a lot of money. If you're a casual gun owner GBC probably isn't for you. Thanks.

Ok, but has anyone else on this forum(or another) dealt with the site before? I can't seem to find reviews anywhere.

You misunderstood our conversation, I asked for an ffl that you have worked with so I could verify everything went smooth and that you are legit. I know that when a transfer is done you pay a fee. You know what they say about if it looks to good to be true. If I can get a reference from a ffl I have no problem signing up just like 75,000 other people on this forum.
